Hyperbole- He was as tall as a mountain
Alliteration - The monkey murdered the magnificent mountainous mouse.

Walking through the hall
I saw myself perched on the wall
A mere shadow of myself
I had become but an elf
Metaphor - That man was a lion.
Analogy- Just as the Chameleon must change his colours to match his environment, we must change ourselves to fit in.
Repetition- It was a cold, cold night.
Personification - The locker vomited all my documents and files onto the floor.
Allusion - He was but another tyrannical Julius Caesar.
Euphemism - He is of ample proportions.
Imagery - I took one last breath before I plunged into the dark abyss; this was to be my last chance, and I had to make it count.
Irony - The green party prints millions of posters that say "Save the Trees."
Malapropism - He's a wolf in cheap clothing.
Onomatopoeia - The bee buzzed all through the yard.
Oxymoron - I feltall alone in the crowd.
Satire - Students decide to give the school system another chance.
Simile - I am as swift as a fox.
Symbol - The American flag is a symbol of liberty and freedom.
Theme - The theme of the story is that error is unavoidable.
